I don't know why, but I feel like I want to avoid the season finale. Not because of a fear of the show ending, but (I think) because I know what Starlight Glimmer will be doing, and how badly she'll throw everything off. I don't want to see the perfect world we've seen get screwed up, and I don't want to see characters change from the ones we've seen to something different and possibly unpleasant.

From what I saw at the end of the most recent episodes end (the book in the barrel in the last scene) and the description I read on direct tv for the finale I think they are finally using something from the comics as I think the pony if shadows ( who the tv description mentions ) is the evil ancester that the pony who was erasing all knowledge of from the world in an attempt to keep him from coming back.

The finale of Season Five starts half an hour early. In my case, that's 8 AM PT instead of 8:30 PT. Presumably this is because they want their two-part episode done so The LIttlest Pet Shop can air on time.

Anyway, thought some of you might like to know!

In the Sombra timeline, she had a metal wing! It could have been armour, but none of the other pegasi had anything like it, which leads me to believe it was a replacement for a wing lost in battle. What do you think? Is there an amputee story group? 'Cause that would be awesome.

Quite a few people seem upset at the finale because Starlight wasn't 'punished' for her actions. I personally didn't like her backstory, nor did I like the need to throw in a Freudian excuse for her actions, but the resolution of her not getting punished and becoming Twilight's student is actually a great ending that I'll defend.
